Respond by Nov. 4, 2022. We are conducting OUTREACH for a soon-to-be-open Forester position at the Penobscot Experimental Forest (PEF) in Maine. This full-time, permanent position will provide research support to scientists at the PEF and serve as the Forest Service’s site manager, overseeing facilities and research infrastructure. Duties include stand layout, inventory, prescription writing, timber marking, writing reports, managing and analyzing data, and contributing to tours, presentations, and publications. This position requires a Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree plus specialized experience.
