Are you passionate about land management, conservation, and climate action? CLCC is now accepting applications for our first-ever Climate Smart Stewardship Coordinator, who will play a key role in implementing CLCC’s $750,000 climate smart land management program.
The Coordinator will assist land trusts with integrating climate resilience, mitigation, and adaptation into their land stewardship programs, and will further elevate the role of land trusts and natural/working lands as part of the climate solution. Principal responsibilities include:
-Overseeing CLCC’s forthcoming climate smart planning and implementation grant program;
-Delivering training and outreach for land trusts, related to climate smart activities; and
-Providing direct technical assistance to land trust seeking to integrate climate smart practices into their land stewardship programs.
